About me

I have visited China five times;

first time in September of 2005 when I spent 24 days in China (I visited Beijing (the Great Wall, Jinshanling – Simatai, Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven), Taishan (Taian), Xian (Terracotta Army), Shanghai and Hangzhou),

the second time I spent 39 days in China in April-May of 2007 visiting Chongqing (Dazu), Guiyang (Huangguoshu waterfall and Long Gong caves), Kunming (Stone Forest), Guilin (Yangshuo), Wuhan (Wudangshan), Huangshan (Tunxi), Shanghai and Suzhou.

The third time I spent two months in and around Shanghai (mostly exploring water-towns around Shanghai) in November and December of 2007,

The fourth time I visited China in October of 2008, spent one month mostly in Shanghai but I also visited Longhu Shan, Jingdezhen and Wuyuan County,

The fifth time I was in China from May 03, 2010 to May 30, 2010 and visited Beijing (the Great Wall – Badaling, the Temple of Heaven, Old Summer Palace, Baiyun Temple, Forbidden City), Datong (Yungang Grottoes, The Hanging Monastery, Mt Hengshan), Anyang (Yinxu museum, Youli Townlet, Memorial Temple of General Yue Fei), Zhengzhou (museum), Dengfeng (Shaolin Monastery, Songshan National Park), Luoyang (museums, Longmen National Park), Huashan City (Mt Huashan), Changsha (museum, Mt Hengshan), Shanghai (Expo 2010).
