About me
I am the dichotomy of experience and perception! The world is my home and I strive to float freely among the places and people that attract me around the planet. I was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and spent most of my growing up years between there and California, USA. I have also spent a lot of time in the Northwest region of the USA, living in Washington State and working in Oregon State.
I have had a diverse professional background with a focus primarily on investigations and general consulting as well as a bit of sales. My life-long unofficial and official studies have focused on many aspects of humanities including sociology, cultural anthropology, criminology, group dynamics, policy and procedural practices, and a variety of other technical-sounding fields that tend to center around learning how people think, operate, and relate to one another on a variety of levels.
Now I find myself in Panama, running an outdoor adventure site located on the Caribbean coast near the beautiful and historic town of Portobelo in the province of Colon. While this is my main focus, I am dedicated to sharing the beautiful opportunities offered by this eco-rich area with travelers and people seeking a truly tropical and authentic Caribbean-Panamanian experience. I hope to help this area grow and develop with a mind towards conserving the environment and ecology that exists here with innovative eco-friendly methods and technologies as an example of how progress and conservation can exist hand-in-hand.
