Im so intreged as to where you went? Did you meet people before you left or when you were away? I'm looking to go traveling on my own from early next year and feeling very nervous about it all. Just cant seem to make any decisions as worried about being on my own.

I'm hoping to start in Africa and I'm also looking to volunteer have you had any volunteering experience?

Does anyone know of any good community groups or forums for meeting potiential partners for those traveling solo??

I'm hoping to go to Africa in Jan 2010 and would love to find someone to come with me?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
