We (a pair of young just 70 travelers) have just returned from a wonderful 3 week trip to southern India. After spending just a 1/2 day in Mumbia we took the train to fantastic Matheran, an old British hill station. After flying to Kochi (Cochin) we toured mainly nature parks in the south. Our tour was arranged by Planet Travel, based on our suggested tour & the small B & B's, or home-stays that we requested. Planet Travel exceeded our expectations & we highly recommend them to anyone who wants a privately catered tour. We asked for quotes from 4 different agents & Planet Travel was the cheapest. We chose them not because of the price, but they were the most responsive in planning the trip which gave us the confidence to "go with them". We're planning to use them when we go to northern India, hopefully next year.
