I flew Sydney to New York with Air Tahiti Nui and the food was excellent. Hot, fresh (as fresh as a tray of foil covered food can be) and plenty of service when it came to menu options, extra rolls and topping up of your glass. Oh, and the bubbly is french (Moet, no less).
Overall however, I'm yet to meet a mid-air breakfast egg dish I've truly enjoyed on any airline. rubber. The day any of them manage to serve good old hot toast will be a thankful one.
