It will be fine inside. UK houses and buildings are notorious for crappy insulation. We are a bit better prepared here towards the cold.....

I think your main issue will be that the airports Skavsta and Arlanda are far out of Stockholm and it is expensive to get there.

Viking Line also runs the Tallinn Helsinki route with a large vessel (better on a stormy day).
