Currently a Melbourne-based baby boomer and long-time hostel traveller, now I like a little more comfort, but still a bit off the beaten track, especially national parks, hiking and camping. Seen just about all of Australia, and a modest part of the rest of the world, including SE Asia, NZ, the Pacific, some Europe, and especially North America.
Formerly a long-term bureaucrat in the Australian federal government, now running a small graphic design and print business.
