About me

Travelled loads with my family as a child, due to my father’s changing countries every four years with his job. Lived in Thailand, Spain, Algeria, and Ghana as well as spending a little time back home in the UK. Then after uni my travels started again – two years as a volunteer in Bangladesh, visiting my brother in Namibia, hiking in Nepal, a year in Australia training as a teacher, two years teaching in Istanbul, Turkey, two years teaching in Vietnam, a break exploring New Zealand, and travelling around Laos and Thailand while in the area!

Now I am married and living in Tanzania, where my husband runs a safari company and we work together on running our new tented camp with our business partners while we build our dream – a luxury ecolodge in the Tanzanian rainforest. Recently having problems with elephants sitting on our hydrogenerator, I have learned life in Tanzania is ever challenging and always fun :)
