Hello everyone
This is my first post to this group. My family and I visited Romania back in December 2008, staying in Suceava and the Maramures region. We enjoyed ourselves so much that a return visit is in the works, planned for next summer. I want to use Suceava as a starting point before heading off to Moldova and then eventually Ukraine. Our first trip we had the pleasure of being shepherded around Bukovina by Ciprian Slemcho. I have been trying to get in contact with him again to plan this future trip. The tour of the painted monasteries, especially Humor and Voronet, left us speechless. If anyone has any suggestions of sites to see in Bukovina or even into Moldova, I'm all ears.
