Hi there,

I’m Daniel, one of Lonely Planet’s Asia experts. I specialise in China, where I live (Beijing, to be precise.. in one of those little alleys behind the Drum Tower), and India, where I’ve been travelling to, on and off, since the mid 1990s.

I’ve co-written a load of guidebooks for Lonely Planet (see the full list below). I’m also co-host of the Lonely Planet TV series, Best in China. And (as if that wasn’t enough) I’m also the author of the truly magnificent iPhone App, Beijing on a Budget. Download it. You’ll love it. Trust me.
