About me

I am an experienced traveler and also a guidebook and website author. I’ve been in & out of Africa since 1991 as an expedition member of Operation Raleigh Expedition 91F to Zimbabwe. I’ve worked as a Anti-Poaching Scout; Safari Guide, Learner Professional Hunter/Guide, Environmental Educator and a lecturer at Bulawayo Polytechnic.


My home is in Zimbabwe but am currently in Brighton working as a Design & Technology teacher and doing my Masters. My specialist areas of experience are independent travel (either as a grp leader or solo); 4×4s; vehicle based overland expeditions; East and Southern Africa.


I’ve got a 4wd Toyota Surf in Zimbabwe which I occasionally rent out to people looking to do self drive safaris in East and Southern Africa.
