Though I have only recently come across this quote, I have lived by it my entire life and am once again taking it to heart. My partner and I are on a one year trip abroad. We are in Turku, Finland right now until this September, followed by a 5 day break back in the states, then it’s off again for another 6 months to a country yet to be determined. While overseas I’m writing/illustrating children’s books while soaking up as much as the surrounding culture as possible.
