About me

my parents turned me into a traveler when they put me in a cradle at 5 months old, took me to greece by train (2.5 days), and dragged me around crete on a buggy. i traveled quite a lot as a child, and have remained restless and curious about the world ever since.

when i started at university (after a year abroad) i was too restless and started flying for a major european airline in 1990. i did finish my university, but decided that no other job could offer me the advantages of flying (traveling, freedom, irregular working hours, flexible life style, lots of time off), and decided to stay.

since 1999, i started a website with the aim to share my adventures with the world, and it has grown to be a big site with many thousands of pictures from over 120 countries.

there are several countries i’d love to go back to, but my curiosity for something new always wins. i have made a list of the countries i haven’t visited yet – and am now working to visit those countries. it will guarantee a stream of new pictures to my site.
