About me
I’m an American who’s been living in China since 2000, mostly working for American companies. I like easy going vacations, prefering to veg on a beach & scuba dive than to hike mountains. I speak fluent Mandarin, conversant Spanish, and really like travelling. I’m also a detail freak, so I’ve got a lot of travel info compiled on the places I’ve been. Feel free to ask if you need any info! Lately I’ve traveled throughout most of China and East Asia, including the Philippines (Boracay is my favorite), Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Hong Kong, and Japan. In the last year and a half I’ve also spent time in Marseille, Paris, Amsterdam, Munich (Oktoberfest!), London, and Puerto Vallarta, and in earlier years spent time in Cabo San Lucas (great vacation place), Costa Rica (for studying and travel), and Panama. I’m hoping to backpack thru Xishuangbanna, Laos, Cambodia, & Vietnam in the summer of 2007, afterwards takint the trans-Siberian railroad and then studying in Costa Rica or Guatemala for a few weeks before starting b-school.
