59/m, writer, journalist, photographer, documentary filmer. Author of travelrelated books on Rajasthan, Nepal, Vietnam and Andalucia. Avid cyclist, try to get away every year for at least a month to ride my bicycle on foreign roads. When at home, I have to be content with the flat (and windswept!) Dutch roads. First trip to India 1980. Lost count how many trips, stopped keeping score at twenty or so. Last trip: November 2006. Also a regular in Nepal and Vietnam.Recent activity
