About me

I’m a California native, born and raised.

I’ve always wanted to travel extensively and explore the world. So far, I haven’t done much traveling outside of North America. I’ve been several places around my home state (California) and a few other states, and I’ve been to a few places in Canada.

I am an artist/illustrator/graphic designer who is in the middle of contemplating a career transition. I’m interested in pastry arts, baking and desserts, so I’m currently exploring culinary programs in Canada. My aspirations are to own a brick and mortar bakery, work as a pastry chef around several locations to gain hands on experience and to establish a voice in travel writing, food writing/blogging/journalism, and food critique.

I also have a passion for writing and conceptualizing short stories in the realm of fantasy, children’s stories, absurdism, magic realism, surrealism, and bizarro.

I’d love to become a polyglot or even a hyper-polyglot someday, but I know this takes a lot of time, work, persistence, dedication and immersion. Immersion is one of the more important aspects to becoming fluent in a language. Best way to learn is to be where a language is spoken and displayed fluently.

Looking to explore this site further as I hope to fill my future with a lot of travel, adventure and exploration. This might be the place to meet others who share the same goals and desires.
