About me

I live in Bangalore, India and work as brand marketing consultant. I am single. I love travelling to places to see and experience art, culture, music, architecture, history and people. I have been to the USA and Canada; I usually don’t care much for the big cities though I love NY for its buzzing energy, Santa Fe, San Francisco and Quebec are great too for their quaintness. I loved the natural beauty in places like Yellowstone Park, Grand Canyon and mostly the changing scenery while on the road. My favourite destination is Europe; I have been to France, Austria, Italy, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Greece and Turkey. Maybe I am a Europhile; I just love places like Paris, Vienna, Krakow, Budapest, Florence and how can I forget Rome, Venice, Madrid, Istanbul… vibrant Andalucia and serene Greek Islands. In the east I have been to Thailand and Singapore (not my idea of a great city!). In India too I have travelled across. Since my means are modest I can afford to travel only budget class (it takes me a couple of years to save enough to travel – Europe is expensive!) and stay in pensiones and hostels. I usually travel with an old friend and companion who has similar taste for places. This year I want to go back to Spain – I find them so warm and friendly. I would love to visit Denmark and Scandinavian countries only if could rob a bank!
