I first travelled overseas in 1976 with my parents. We went to the UK and part of Europe and lived through a very small earthquake in Rome. My next trip wasn’t until 1989 visiting my sister living in Hong Kong.
Since then I’ve been to western Canada, parts of eastern USA, central and eastern Europe, Spain and Portugal and, closer to home, a couple of trips to New Zealand. Enjoy travelling and usually head off with my partner every two years for several weeks to somewhere of interest to us both.
Tripped around Hawaii, BC and the west coast US states in September 2012 and had a week in Singapore in early March 2013.
Next trip planned for Europe in May 2014; Amsterdam, southern France and the Black Forest.
