I'm from London and will also be in Munich in September, I'm spending all of September driving through Europe. I also am an artist and I'm planning on lots of drawing/galleries and museums. I will be in Munich for the Oktoberfest.

I need some help/advise!
My plans so far.....
Me alone, Mid Oct 2010...London - Tokyo (1 month). In Japan I plan to take this route. Tokyo, Nagoya, Takayama, Kyoto, Okayama, Shikoku, Matsue, Tottori, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Kumamoto and then back to Tokyo. I plan to buy the Japan Rail Pass for 21 days. Does and don'ts??? I have never been to Japan before, will I be able to fit above route in with 1 month?
From Tokyo I will fly to Sydney (approx 8 months) I have been here twice, I want to see the east coast either before or after Christmas.
Sydney to New Zealand (1 month) I have never been, I want to do both islands but it will probably be around August... so cold? I was thinking skiing, anyone done that in New Zealand before?
From New Zealand to South America in September (4-6 weeks) I have been advised to pick one or maybe two and really enjoy them instead of trying to do too much. Apparently Argentina is top? What do you think?
Then home :-(
Although I might try and fit in a relaxing beach brake somewhere for a week...Bali?

I'm leaving London mid oct. Japan (1 month) Australia (approx 8 months) In Australia I want to do the East Coast, I did the West this year already. So we'll in in Australia the same time? Thanks, I think I will go for it. I know I'll regret it if I don't. I'm probably going to be there from mid Jan '11 if you or anyone else is going to be in S America then. I haven't booked flights yet but probably flying to Santiago, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Rio. Still need to work out an itinerary, any suggestions or ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

Next month I'm booking an around the world ticket for next January. My sister lives in Sydney so the plan is to work there for a little while between travelling. Other than that I have no plans. I need advice on places to go, I have just come back from a holiday where I went up the west coast of Australia and spent what was supposed to be 4 days in Singapore but turned out to be 6! These are some countries I'm considering, New Zeland, Japan, China, Morocco, Taiwan, India, Vietnam, Bali, Mexico....any suggestions? I have never planned anything like this and need some help. Is there anywhere I should avoid? Thanks!
