Hi,
I’m Lonely Planet’s Community Manager and I’m here to help. My aim is to provide the best and fairest service to the Lonely Planet community, so please get in touch with me if there is something about Thorn Tree that you want to discuss.
I also love to hear about other people’s stories and discoveries – I’m hoping the LP community will quench my desire on that front! I was brought up in Spain, so if you have any questions about the country / language, I’m your man too.
I love outdoor-type holidays (especially if they involve swimming of any kind) and I am also keen to try the best of the cuisines of the places I visit – so as long as there is no mushrooms involved! Although I am no accomplished cook, I make a mean Spanish tortilla de patatas and I love to bake.
When I’m not going places, I like to wind down with some comedy on TV (I’m on my second re-run of Frasier at the moment) or going to the cinema to watch classic Hollywood films and Ealing comedies. I also love playing videogames – my games collection is ridiculously huge.
