About me
I first left Australia when I was 3 years old. I’ve spent a total of about 6 years away since then. That makes me at least 9 years old. Fortunately for me, China’s lax labour laws allow even 9 year olds to work, and I now live/work in Beijing. My Chinese is crap, but I still have an extensive collection of mainland pop-DVDs, which I like to listen to but can’t understand. I have a deep affection for Hong Kong and just recently I’ve branched out into Canto-pop (I can’t speak Cantonese either, but have lerned how to finish every sentence in -ahhh) and I now have Joey Yung, Kelly Chen and Cecelia Cheung on my playlist. My hobbies are: watch DVDs, listen to Chinese pop song, drink flamboyant looking cocktails with fruit and umbrellas poking out (lax licensing laws for 9 year olds also here). I also like travel and photography. Countries I’ve lived in: Australia, UK, China, Indonesia I’ve visited about 45 countries on holiday too. LATEST UPDATE: It’s been many years since I wrote that profile; since then I’ve been to Australia for about a year and Vietnam for 3 years. I’m now living in London at least for the next few months.
