Dive shop manager/webmaster living for 12 years in Phuket, Thailand. Married. We have 2 kids, both born in Thailand, the second of whom was born on Jan 11th 2005 in Phuket, just 2 weeks after the tsunami. Our miracle baby.
Before Thailand, Batfish has traveled widely in Africa, all over North, Central and South America, and also Europe and India. Stayed a year plus in Utila, Honduras teaching diving before giving Thailand a try.
Favourite countries (apart from Thailand): Mexico, Chile, Honduras, Morocco and (go on, hate me) the US of A.
Used to work for a large pharmaceutical company and has a Masters degree in Forensic Chemistry. Big f***ing deal! Not putting it to much use now!
Want to dive? Jamie works at Sunrise Divers, based in Karon Beach Phuket. Only trouble is (blame the modern world) he is spending most of the time with computers rather than fish.
