Lonely Planet review
If you're hoping to partake of the Mauritian chambre d'hôte experience, look no further – Les Lataniers Bleus offers local hospitality at its finest. Josette Marchal-Vexlard is the head of the household, and she dotes upon her guests with effortless charm and an infectious smile. The darling rooms are spread across three houses situated on an ample, beachside orchard.
Every comfort has been considered – there's even a power point hidden in a tree trunk so that you can update your blog while sitting in the sand! The evening table d'hôte on the veranda is a great way to meet other guests and learn about life on the island from the affable hostess.
Our independent authors have visited Les Lataniers Bleus and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Tamarin & Rivière Noire.
