Le Morne Peninsula hotels and hostels

Largely the domain of five-star properties (rumours are sprouting that a 'six-star' resort is in the works), the fan-shaped swath of sand below the looming Le Morne Brabant is a wonderful place to spend your days on Mauritius if you're looking for a lazy beach holiday. Despite the hefty price tags (from €150 to €300) attached to most resorts, the area's villa rentals are surprisingly well priced due to their far-flung location.
