Lonely Planet review for La Langouste Grisée

This is a restaurant frequented by the great and the good of Grand Baie, offering very stylish dining in an attractive garden overlooking a pond as well as charming indoor tables. As a winner of the Fourchette d'Or in 2005, 'the Tipsy Lobster' is generally recognised as one of the best restaurants on the island. Sample dishes from its imaginative Franco-Mauritian menu include Dorado fillet, peanut sauce and banana slices. Lobster is obviously the speciality and vegetarians really shouldn't bother coming.
