  6. A Holiday in Malta with Kids

    Blog: Ciao Bambino! - 19 October 2011

Malta is a shy little archipelago suspended in the middle of the Med. Its modesty is part of its charm, but boy does it have a lot it could brag about. One of its islands is home to what is thought to be the oldest free-standing building in the world. The Egyptian pyramids and Britain’s Stonehenge are youthful in comparison. If America were lucky enough to find the Ġgantija temples on its soil, it would have turned them into a prehistoric theme park, transporting visitors back to its creation in around 3200 BC.

    Blog: Vagobond.com - 24 September 2010

Don't read anything about the country of place you are going to. That way you won't understand the culture, the traditions, the history, the climate, or anything else. You will be able to have a completely one dimensional experience.

Blog: Ron in Rome - 29 August 2010

After the chaos, traffic and noise of centro Roma, head to Aventine Hill for a wonderful break. It’s quiet, peaceful, pleasantly calm, and gives you great views of the city.  As you reach the [...]

  19. Pictures take you places – Why it’s difficult to take beautiful photos in Malta

Blog: The Art of Slow Travel - 26 July 2010

Since ex-English students seem to make up half of my face book friends, I tend to see a ridiculous amount of Malta photos, and I always find myself thinking the same thought. 23. 10 things to do in Malta this Summer: Get yourself on a boat

Blog: The Art of Slow Travel - 10 July 2010

    8. Get yourself on a boat Many people will find that Malta is more beautiful when seen from the deck of a boat, and on a clear summer’s day, this is definitely the case. Considering that a markedly semi-arid climate means that vegetation and greenery are not an integral part of the landscape, it is the coastline, with [...]

In fact, it’s not even a real beach, but [...]
