Lonely Planet review
Things move slowly at the Imperial, in keeping with the old-world interior (dating from 1865) and vintage patrons. The lobby's chandelier and grand sweeping staircase impress. The rooms don't quite live up to the expectations raised by downstairs, but they're furnished by wrought-iron beds and are comfortable (you'll pay more for a garden/pool view and a balcony).
Our independent authors have visited Imperial Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Sliema, St Julian’s & Paceville.
