Hôtel De L'esplanade
Although most rooms don't take advantage of the riverside location, walk out the front door and there's the Niger in all its glory.

Once Ségou's best hotel, L'Auberge is still a favourite for many travellers, thanks to its expansive courtyard, swimming pool, bar and pizza oven. The only drawback is that the rooms are a short block away from the main hotel building.
This is our choice for the best hotel in town, combining a great location just back from the riverbank, large and pleasant rooms, and great service.
If this place wasn't 4.5km (3mi) south of town , it would come close to topping our list. Its quality rooms are tastefully decorated and have considerable character. There's also a pleasant courtyard and agreeable service.
If you don't mind being a pleasant 10-minute walk from the riverbank, Motel Savanne has spacious, sparkling rooms that have splashes of colour and character. It's also wonderfully quiet - a recurring theme in Mali - with a shady garden area.
