I am planning a city break of sorts to visit KL in Sep '16 with my wife and 3yr old son. I worked out an itinerary keeping in mind my son's age. As you would notice, the plan is pretty laid back. Suggestions welcome.
Day 1 - Arrive and relax at KL
Day 2 - Petronas towers, KLCC and Aquaria KLCC
Day 3 - KL Bird Park, China town & National museum
Day 4 - Batu caves & zoo
Day 5 - Full day rainforest adventure
Day 6 - Melaka day tour
Day 7 - Return
Is there any public transport from Lankawi Ferry Terminal to Cenang Beach?
I have low-budget travel. I don't want to spend a lot of money for taxi, so I am looking for some public trasport to Cenang Beach.
I would be much appreaciate for any of your tips.
I'm currently planing my itinerary and have a few questions about the bus ride from Melaka and Singapore.
1) Do buses leave from Melaka Sentral to the very north of Melaka City?
2) Which bus station in Singapore do the buses from Melaka arrive?
3) I read that there should be 4 buses per day and than the trip should last about 4 1/2 hours. Would you be able to provide the time schedule?
I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much.

Hi, when does the rainy season begin for Boko National Park? I understand that multi-day tours and sometimes even the park can close during this. I'll be in Sarawak mid-late september
Just a heads-up: the journey from Melaka Sentral (main bus station) to the Heritage district is either expensive (a taxi costs RM30, twice as much as the journey from KL) or horrible and time-consuming on the local bus 17. The bus 17 is very crowded so both times I have used it I was standing and crushed by others. And it takes a long time, partly because after leaving the bus station with a full load of passengers it goes to refuel, and this takes at least half an hour! All in all, my journey…
I've refined my itinerary a bit, and was hoping to get some thoughts on whether this is doable, and whether anywhere here should changed/replaced by somewhere better. The only flaw I see in this itinerary is that there is a lot of backtracking to Kota Kinabalu, but it seems like it's hard to do it any other way.
Day 1: Arrive Singapore
Day 2: Singapore
Day 3: Singapore to Kota Kinabalu
Day 4: Kota Kinabalu (snorkel tour to a nearby island?)
Day 5: Kota Kinabalu to Brunei (via Labuan…
