Lonely Planet review

Melina is located on a remote beach of photogenic boulders and white sand. Each sleeping option is unique, creatively designed from wood, thatch and Plexiglas to create a certain Crusoe chic – the most interesting is a tree house that hovers right over the beach.Meals are served at the resort or you can walk for 20 minutes to Genting and try the restaurants there. The owners have set up a successful turtle hatchery, and plenty of activities are organised to keep folks entertained; there’s also a beachside bar and BBQ. The relaxed atmosphere attracts lots of families.

Our independent authors have visited Melina Beach Resort and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Pulau Tioman.
