Learn how orphaned orangutans are rehabilitated back into the wild, swim among colourful fish and spot wildlife in Borneo's steamy jungles. Along the way, make friends with local villagers, try delicious cuisine and enjoy plenty of time to kick back and relax. Itinerary

Day 1 Kota Kinabalu
An intriguing city between the Borneo jungle and the South China Sea, Kota Kinabalu has a charm that can only be found in a frontier town.
Days 2-3 Kinabalu National Park
Featuring beautiful nature trails and diverse flora and fauna, Kinabalu National Park encompasses the lowland tropical forest surrounding the imposing peak of Mt Kinabalu.
Days 4-5 Kinabatangan Jungle Camp
Located in a small village on the Kinabatangan River, our hosts are the local ecological organisation, MESCOT, whose aim is to provide villagers with environmental education.
Days 6-7 Sepolik Orangutan Reserve
Set in lush tropical rainforest, the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre was established to prepare domesticated or orphaned orangutans to return to the wild.
Day 8 Pulau Tiga National Park/Kota Kinabalu
The setting for the first-ever series of Survivor, Pulau Tiga is full of mud volcanoes, jungle walking tracks, beautiful beaches and amazing snorkelling opportunities.
Days 9-11 Kota Kinabalu
Sabah's historic capital, Kota Kinabalu has interesting museums to explore and the surrounding beaches and islands are perfect for swimming or snorkelling.
