Lonely Planet review

While not as ‘old-world Asia’ as the stunning Shangri La, Sutera caters to big spenders with a cache of five-star amenities orbiting the vaulted lobby. Some of the rooms (especially those with carpeting) feel a bit tired, so don’t hesitate to ask to see a couple of options. A second on-site tower, the Magellan, offers additional rooms.
