Lonely Planet review
The time-worn stucco facade may suggest faded grandeur, but KK's first post-WWII hotel is still plush enough with its thick carpets, Rungus bed-runners and marble-heavy bathrooms. The soundproofing could be better, but if you're hankering for colonial character, this central hotel drips with it.
Our independent authors have visited The Jesselton Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Kota Kinabalu.
