Lonely Planet review
The oldest hotel in KK doesn't need to manufacture character – it fairly drips it, in a dignified if dated way. Mock-colonial wood and marble make you want to don black-tie formal clothes, and the single suite even has its own fishpond. There's also a very good restaurant, coffee shop, business centre and red London cab to shuttle you to the airport.
Our independent authors have visited The Jesselton Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Kota Kinabalu.
