Lonely Planet review
This relaxing recreational park, a 10-minute walk east of the Titiwangsa monorail station, surrounds Lake Titiwangsa. As well as walking and jogging paths and jolly boating on the lake (from RM3 per hour), there are tennis courts (8am to 7pm/7pm to 11pm RM5/10 per hour), squash courts (8am to 11pm RM6 per hour) and table tennis (RM2 per hour).
With its picture-postcard view of the city skyline, the park is a favourite spot for courting Malaysian couples – and the religious police on the lookout for improper behaviour.
