Peter Hoe’s original batik designs on sarongs, shirts and dresses are the main drawcard here, but you’ll find many tastefully arranged Malaysian and imported Asian home goods, too. There’s also a much bigger store (Peter Hoe Beyond; [tel] 2026 9788; 2nd floor Lee Rubber Building, 145 Jln Tun HS Lee; open 10am to 7pm) with a pleasant cafe around the corner on the 2nd floor of the old Lee Rubber Building.
