Lonely Planet review
Opening in 2013, the 53 room Solun is easily the best value top end hotel in Skopje. In a converted building in a courtyard off a street in the heart of the city, the hotel is a stylish and design conscious place, with an enormous range of different room categories, the smallest of which are admittedly rather poky.
Yet all rooms are understated, and furnished in dark greys and black, featuring glass wardrobes, cattleskin chairs and even a Ducati motorbike in the lobby. Black-clad staff purr in English and ooze confident professionalism.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel Solun and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Skopje.
