Lonely Planet review

Run by a friendly family, al-Fanar's location right on the edge of the sea near the lighthouse (al-fanar is Arabic for lighthouse) is hard to beat. It has a cute little pub and a decent restaurant dishing up homemade food and fish dishes. Good discounts can be negotiated out of the summer season (October to May).
