Lonely Planet review
This romantic boutique hardly fits the profile of a business hotel, yet it plays home-away-from-home for a loyal cadre of business travellers looking for an after-work sanctuary. No rooms are the same, but all ooze character and are outstanding values.
Each room is individually designed to match the artwork over the bed. The standard doubles are somewhat small but immaculate with great big soft beds, lively bedspreads and classy bed frames to match the equally classy wardrobes and bedside tables. For only a little extra you can upgrade from a regular double to a big double and have a bit more room to spread your stuff around. It's a bit like a B&B in that the basement restaurant is only for guests' breakfast. The little lobby bar is basically a self-serve affair, with a small selection of wine and cognac on offer. Among the many things that keep guests coming back here is the warm and friendly service. If you really must work, there's free wi-fi.
