Just west of Wat In Paeng, Fujiwara has an epic menu including all the Japanese favourites and several set meals. Sushi is the specialty and it’s good, but not cheap.

    It must be the best Japanese restaurant in Vientiane. You can try almost all kinds Japanese dishes here including fresh salmon and caviar. The environment and decoration of this restaurant are impressive, and you'll find the wooden toad on the table is so cute. :)

    This place is awsome! Their sushi menu is very impressive, actually thats most of the menu! As for the other dishes, even the simplest like the braised veggies are so tasty, I always ended up ordering WAY too much. They also have the old favourites like eel, teryaki etc so theres something for everyone here.
    Pricewise Fujiwara is a bit on the expensive side, especially for Vientiane with the 10 kip pho and baguettes all over the place but all I can say is that the extra money spent is well worth it.
