In the grounds of the Centre Culturel et de Coopération Linguistique, this airy, comfortable bar and café is, understandably, popular with Francophone expats and serves cheap coffee (from US$0.30), sandwiches and simple meals.

    yummy ice cream!

    lopetsinlaos recommends this,

    This ice cream is the best in Laos...homemade! And the main location in Ban Phonpapao is a home that has a big garden where children can play while they eat their ice cream. Just hurry up before it melts (or order more!)
