This simple but pleasant outdoor place near the cluster of guesthouses in Ban Wat That serves a large selection of Lao and Luang Prabang dishes, including the best choice of vegetarian Lao food in town. Dining areas are divided between tables on a slight bluff near the kitchen and seating across the road on the riverbank.

    A delightful Lao restaurant with great views and good value

    nateblaze recommends this,

    Somchanh is situated on the banks of the Mekong, on the far southwestern end of Luang Prabang's peninsula on Th Suvannabanlong. With great views and excellent prices, it's a solid destination for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, serving mostly Lao food but with some Western options as well. They also serve Lao beer and have an extensive shake and juice menu.
