Worst food in 2 months of Traveliing

    smkuchta does not recommend this,

We ate at Tum Tum Bamboo on May 23, 2009 and it was without a doubt the worst meal we've had in 2 months of traveling through Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. I ordered the Chicken w/basil leaves and had 3 bites, one bite was lukewarm and the other two were cold! The food was not fresh and tasted like it had been haphazardly reheated. My wife ordered the chicken sate w/peanut sauce that was also dead cold and dry, she had one bite and that was it. We told the waiter the food was cold. He offered to reheat it and did in fact go deep fry the sate's a little more but the food was disgusting. It is unbelievable to me that this place has a cooking class. We told the waiter the food was terrible but this being asia were not offered any refund considering we had a total of 4 bites of our food so paid a total of $10 for 4 bites of food. Terrible food and terrible service. Avoid Tum Tum Bamboo at all costs!
