One of the best in the region, Kuwait City's ice-skating rink gives the public a chance to sample an Olympic-sized rink. With a spectator capacity of 1600, it's home to the Kuwaiti Falcons, the official ice-hockey team, and the only Arab team to win membership of the International Ice Hockey Federation.

    Not a true Hockey Rink but it is Ice Skating in Kuwait

    I have skated and played hockey in many rinks, a few Olympic sized rinks (one in Chicago) and this is not an Olympic ice surface. The rental skates are horrible, I don't think these skates have ever been sharpened. You do have the choice of getting the rental figure skates which is included in the cover price or go for the hockey skates which will cost you a little more (That is what I went with).
    Overall it was a fun time and I do get to say I ice skated in Kuwait but if it is your first time ice skating just be very careful do to the non sharp skates which makes it harder to skate and a lot of people packed in.
