Hey! I tried to do a search through the forums, but everything about the east africa visa on arrival seems to be discussing obtaining it when flying in to airports. Does anyone know whether it is possible to get the East Africa visa when crossing into Kenya from Tanzania (in particular, either from Arusha on the way to Nairobi or Tanga on the way to Mombasa)? Thanks!
I'm planning to trek Mt Kenya this September 11-15th. I've found a company that does a well-paced route & has good reviews but they don't put groups together. Anyone want to form a group?
I will be in Nairobi through the 12th of November attending a natural medicine seminar and am looking to go to the Masai Mara for a 2 to 3 day safari starting on the 13th. If anyone has any advice or suggestions for tour companies, I would be greatly appreciative. Also, if anyone is interested in joining me, I would love to chat.
I plan to do a 4-day budget safari to the Masai mara and perhaps to lake Nakuru. I am travelling on my own but would join a group. Any suggestions on reliable tour operators? Would like to have a nice experience.
We are planning to cross from Tanzania to Kenya at the Namanga border, but would like to verify some information we have heard.
1) It is apparently possible to get the East Africa Visa at the border (for german nationals). Any recent stories of success?
2) Our car is registered in Uganda. We have heard that this makes it possible to cross into Kenya without hassle and without having to pay outrageous fees. Does anyone have details concerning this?
3) Any tips for a cheap/nice…
myself (Slovakian) and my friend (Czech) will be in Kenya since 6th until 20th August and will be based in Malindi. We are looking for a group to join for a safari to share the costs - prefferably Masai Mara, or Amboseli or Tsavo.
Anybody willing to do so?
Hi there! We are two ladies traveling from NYC and we have organized to visit the Elephant Sanctuary in Kenya tomorrow, August 4th.
The cost is $100 per group and we are looking to decrease costs by adding friends to join us.
Are you interested in joining us? We will be leaving early tomorrow morning.
Respond here and we can get all the details hammered out.
We have done several safaris with Diani Kenya Safaris http://www.diani-kenya-safaris.com.
He suggested a trip with requirements specified by us. Still the best accommodations and the best drivers.
We have done safaris in Masai Mara, Tsavo east and west, Samburu, Lewa and visit a lot of other places in Kenya with Diani Kenya Safaris.
So if you are looking for nice safari trips in Kenya inform Diani Kenya Safaris. He can organize trips for you for a nice price.

I am a 22 year old South African female. I will be travelling to Kenya and hiking up mt Kenya from the 5th to the 10th of December. I will be doing the hike with my friend who is a Kenyan. We have arranged a local reliable guide who is far cheaper than any agency (we checked!). If you are interesting in hiking with us and splitting the costs please message me!

I look forward to hearing from you!
