Lonely Planet review for Phoenician Restaurant
This new garden restaurant, tucked away behind the Sarit Centre, may well be the first Lebanese restaurant in Kenya. We've heard mixed reports of the food, but there's plenty for veggies and with more starters than main courses, assembling your own mixed mezze offers plenty of scope for a Middle East feast. Live music on Friday.

Go to the Phonecian if you don't want to eat.
119nairobi does not recommend this,
The Phonecian Restaurant sounded like a delicious place, but how did it really taste?
We don't know... and noone else will either. The address for Karuna Road no longer exists. All we saw at the supposed site was two guards playing cards at the front gate. There are no signs for a Phonecian Restaurant or directions if they have moved premises. The guards did not know of any restaurants nearby.
If you're hungry we recommend going to a restaurant that exists.Good for: weight loss

good food
vchandaria22 recommends this,
The Phoenician has excellent food...although it started as a Lebanese place it now also has a sushi bar and also does wood fired Pizzas....their sushi/ sashimi is excellent (in my opinion the best in Nairobi) with a lot of vegetarian choices...their Pizzas and french fries are also excellent....The Lebanese food is ok....the Humus, Mutabal, and Batata Hara are good...their Falafel are rock hard and would not recommend which is why I have given it a 4 star for food and not the full 5 stars
Good for: Romance, atmosphere, food, Groups, Solo Travellers, service, Families
