I am doing a trip throughout Uganda and then 4 or 5 days safari in Kenya before heading to Zanzibar for a week.
I was thinking of doing just the Masai Mara Reserve. I've been looking at Gametracker safaris and a few others and they all seem to be having a similar enough offer but the came across Basecamp Explorer which have more private packages including flights to their reserve, etc, etc at a higher rates but what looks to me reasonable for what it is.
We are planning a safari from Moshi via N. Crater to the serengetti, masa Mara and end in Nairobi, Im looking for safaris that would accomodate this route (over 6 days) with games drives.
So I have done some research and am thinking of booking a 5 day safari with Karibu Safaris in Kenya during July.

Thanks in advance
I am looking for a bookshop (or any shop for that matter) in Nairobi that would have guidebooks (LP, Rough Guides, etc.) for the region in stock. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated!

I had heard & read that it wasn't possible to get our visas at the embassy, we either had to get them from our home country in England or fly to Addis Ababa, flying was the last option for us & one of our friends had got their visa at the embassy just a few days ago, so we weren't going to take no for an answer.
We turned up at the consular office between 9am-12pm, asked to apply for the visa & we were immediately told no. After…
