Lonely Planet review
This excellent hotel is just across the road from the Aqaba Gateway complex. It was the first hotel to be built in Aqaba and it has quite an honour roll of guests. The stained-wood, split-level dining room looks thoroughly dated, like the rest of the common-use areas, but this is not a criticism. The large, extremely comfortable rooms (ask for a double-window corner room for great sunsets), copious breakfasts and an excellent staff make this more of a lower-top-end option.
