Lonely Planet review
Run by the always friendly and accommodating Walid, the first and only hotel in Jerash proper boasts a spectacular location directly across from the Hadrian’s Gate. Private rooms with shared bathrooms are very simple and modest, so don’t come here expecting lush quarters and luxurious amenities. However, this budget hotel gets our recommendation, simply because Walid will go out of his way to personally accommodate each and every one of his guests, and is more than happy to wake up early to prepare your breakfast. Although it’s still something of a work in progress, this place has a lot of potential, especially if the rooftop garden overlooking the ruins is put to use.
