This is one place we kept coming back to night after night for the best budget food in downtown. Most of the locals opt for the mutton stew and boiled goat’s head, but take it from us – you’re better off with the excellent shish tawooq, which is enough grilled chicken for two.

    it's not a good adress at all.... does not worth 5jd

    well as everyone i wanted to try the cairo restaurant as it seems that in the lonely planet they liked it.
    when you enter you've a profusion of food , find but soon once you're sit they tell you that you can not order what you want and they offer you kebab or chicken and a drink. find , but soon you discover that the price is 5jds...well 5 jds for chicken rice , salad and a drink...with no choice. why not
    but if you go down you'll see a full range of things to eat and hoooooo surprise they cost less than 1jds for the most expensive ones.... oups i've been screwed???

    yes over there you eat non jordanian food, the quality is so so and you pay 2times the normal price...

    i've been eating in a restaurant for 5 jd and trust me i ate ten times better...
    i recommend you jareen in rainbow street...delicious
