Lonely Planet review for Tannoureen Restaurant

Worth the trek for good Lebanese food, especially mezzes (try the spinach and pine-nut pie) and salads, but it also does a wide selection of Western dishes, grills and fish. Reserve a table in the bright and airy conservatory. The restaurant is easily missed - look for the green wall.

    Really superb place (try their ma'louba = excellent!) - all around 5 stars, BUT WATCH OUT! Make sure you only pay for what your ordered - they trained their staff to bring double the food to the table and when the bill arrives, you pay for double what you ordered. And they keep on opening new water bottles, even if no one drinks the water and in the end you pay for it.

    Bring a crowd, enjoy it all

    Wow. REALLY great food. The menu is quite extensive, and you will want to try a lot of different things so either come hungry or come with a crowd so you can all share. I recommend you do both.
